Steve McNaughton is a licensed, practicing architect with over twenty five years of experience. His approach to architecture is client-centered with a process that is always attentive to the client’s ultimate needs and aspirations, and provides the necessary direction to guide the process smoothly to a successful, finished project. Responsiveness and open, earnest communication embody his practice.
Steve grew up in Virginia Beach and holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Hampton University, where he received the Henry Adams AIA School Medal from the American Institute of Architects. He has extensive experience in residential projects of varying sizes and types, historic preservation projects, as well as educational and institutional projects. His current practice focuses primarily on residential projects.
Steve has been licensed to practice architecture since 2003. He currently Chairs the Virginia Beach Historical Review Board and serves on the Virginia Beach Historical Register Review Committee.
